Best Booth Award AGAIN! - April, 2006

Featured on Phoenix's ABC 15 - April 18, 2006

Brian and Co. were featured live on ABC 15’s SONORAN LIVING segment to help kick off the Scottsdale Culinary Festival at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Brian talked about the Scottsdale Culinary Festival and Carnivale de Cuisine, and featured a beautiful ice sculpture and ferris wheel with fruit set up. Check back soon for photos from this event.

MTV Sweet 16 Party - November 5, 2005

Serenade Catering serviced a special event on November 5, 2005. The event was a Sweet 16 Birthday party for Marissa Leigh, a student at Desert Mountain High School. The party, which was held at an exclusive home on the southern cliffs of Camelback Mountain, was covered by MTV as a part of their weekly reality/documentary show “My Super Sweet 16.” The episode ran Monday, April 12, 2006.

In addition to Serenade Catering, there were between 150-200 guests in attendance. DJ Fashion of local radio station, Power 92.3 was the DJ. Local hip-hop artist JX3 even played a short set on the outdoor stage. Recording artist, Frankie J also performed at the event. Marissa wore at least three dresses throughout the night. She wore a beautiful pink formal dress for her grand introduction. Shortly thereafter, she slipped into a festive pink cocktail dress. Even later, she wore a gold colored sequined dress as she performed and sang for her guests. Marissa was quite the hostess and spent most of her time socializing with her friends and dancing.

Serenade Catering prepared a small plate for the guest of honor when she first walked by (a pink pastry, a strawberry dipped in pink dyed white chocolate and two maraschino cherries). Everything at or in the event was pink (even the two family dogs, who looked like two miniature pink poodles).
